End of Year Home Loan Rates

As a local Realtor in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valleys, I have to keep knowledgeable on current interest rates and loan programs. As should you.

As of the end of 2014 ~ Loan Programs and Rates:

FHA 30 Year Fixed ~ 3.75% (APR 5.32%)

VA 30 Year Fixed ~ 3.75% (APR 3.98%)

Conventional 30 Year Fixed ~ 3.875%, No Points (APR 4.14%)

Conventional 20 Year Fixed ~ 3.75% No Points (APR 4.04%)

Conventional 15 Year Fixed ~ 3.25% No Points (APR 3.53%)

7 Year Adjustable 3.5%

Jumbo 30 Year Fixed 4.0% (APR 4.23%)

Those are the standard. Rates obviously vary based upon individual applicants history, credit score, debt to income ratio, type of property being purchased, etc. Great rates, right?!?!?!

Well, those were the published rates on 12/29 TWO THOUSAND FOURTEEN.  I hope to remember to do a comparable post at the end of TWO THOUSAND FIFTEEN!
